Welcome to Nursing Master. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data We Collect

Our app does not require a user login or account creation, and we do not operate any servers that receive your data. The data below is either stored on your device or handled by Google’s services.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Preferences such as your theme, selected exam, onboarding progress and Daily Questions setting.
  • Quiz history and progress, such as your results and the last quiz you can resume.

This data is not backed up to the cloud or sent to any server. Quiz data is kept in an encrypted database. The app uses your device’s Android ID only to create that encryption key and does not send it anywhere.

Analytics Data

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to help us understand how the app is used and improve it. It collects screens viewed, app interactions, session information, device information, an app instance identifier and approximate location derived from your IP address. It does not collect your name or email address.

Advertising Data

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. The app requests non-personalized ads only. AdMob may still collect your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic information. Google uses this data to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see an ad, and prevent fraud.

Feedback Form

If you choose Send Feedback, the app opens a Google Form in your browser. The form asks for your name and email address along with your feedback. Sending feedback is optional, and we use these details only to read and reply to it.

Notifications

If you turn on Daily Questions, the app asks for permission to send notifications. They are scheduled on your device, and no data is sent to a server to deliver them. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.

3. Third-Party Services

Our app integrates services provided by Google, which receive the data described above. We do not sell your data. These services process data according to their own privacy policies:

On iOS, the app does not track you across other companies’ apps and websites (NSPrivacyTracking is disabled).

4. Data Retention and Security

  • Data on your device persists until you clear it, clear app data or uninstall the app.
  • Analytics data is managed by Google’s secure infrastructure and follows their retention policies.
  • Ad-related data is managed by Google’s secure infrastructure and follows their retention policies.
  • Feedback responses are kept only as long as we need them to handle your feedback.

Data sent to Google’s services is encrypted in transit.

5. Your Choices and Deleting Your Data

  • Quiz history can be cleared from the Stats screen. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data removes everything stored on your device.
  • Advertising ID can be reset or deleted in your device’s settings.
  • Feedback responses can be deleted on request. Email us at the address below and we will remove them.

6. Children’s Privacy

Nursing Master is intended for adults preparing for nursing exams and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take necessary actions.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
