By downloading or using Disk Optimizer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application.

2. Use of the App

  • License: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Restrictions: You may not attempt to extract the source code, reverse-engineer, translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions.
  • Purpose: The app is designed to help you analyze your device’s storage usage, clean up unnecessary files, and compress photos and videos to free up space. It is intended for personal use only.

3. Device Storage Access

  • The app requires broad storage access permission to scan and analyze files on your device. By granting this permission, you authorize the app to read, modify, move, and delete files at your direction.
  • File operations such as deletion, moving to trash, renaming, and media compression are performed only when you explicitly initiate them.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We recommend backing up important files before performing any file operations.

4. Media Optimization

  • The app can compress photos and videos to reduce their file size. Compressed copies are saved alongside or in place of the originals based on your selection.
  • Compression results may vary depending on the source file format, resolution, and chosen quality preset.
  • Original files are preserved unless you explicitly choose to delete them after optimization.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights related to the app and its content belong to the developer.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • “As-Is” Basis: The app is provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for reliability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • No Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, file corruption, or reduced media quality from compression.

7. Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports for improving app stability. The app displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of these ads or the products and services they promote. Data collection by these services is governed by Google’s privacy policies.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
